We take great care in the making of every bottle of wine we produce and stand behind it. As wine is a natural product that results from hungry little organisms consuming grape sugar, things do occasionally go awry. It’s Hot Outside
Summer temperatures are soaring across the country. Wine shipments going south and east are in danger of heat exposure. To protect your wines, we recommend that you select the 2nd Day Air or UPS Summer Priority Overnight shipping. Please contact us for options and pricing as they are unique to the shipping zip code
PLEASE NOTE: that we are unable to guarantee the condition of any wines damaged by heat if ground shipping is selected during the summer months. You may select to do so at your own risk.
All online sales are final, if you purchased our wine at our tasting room per California State law, alcohol returns can only be accepted if the product is spoiled or otherwise unfit for consumption, or purchased in error. All returns/exchanges MUST be made at the Clavey Vineyards & Winery Tasting Room located at 232 Commercial St. Nevada City, Ca.
We want all consumers of Clavey Wine to enjoy each sip so please reach out with any questions or concerns with your order.
Please note: Wines may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. In placing your order, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and that the person to whom your wine will be delivered is at least 21 years old. The person accepting delivery will be required to show an ID proving that he or she is at least 21 years old. Consignee is responsible for any reshipment charges for undeliverable packages. Please be sure that the address information you provide is accurate and that there will be someone there to receive the package.
By placing an order you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order. Orders are taxed (which may include a tax on the shipping charge) in accordance with state laws. Orders are processed as quickly as possible upon receipt, but may take up to 3 business days to process. Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing. You will be notified and provided with a tracking number at the email address you provide when your order ships.
Weather conditions (heat or cold) may delay shipments until more favorable conditions exist. To protect wine from potential damage in winter and summer, we recommend 2nd day air. If you have concerns about weather conditions or wish to arrange for specific timing of your order, please call us at (530) 265-8200 or via email at email@example.com.
United Parcel Service (UPS) is our designated shipping carrier for your order. Sorry, but we are unable to ship orders using your personal UPS or FedEx account number. Please be aware that UPS deliveries occur Monday through Friday only, excluding holidays.
We can ship DIRECTLY to the following states: CA. If you would like us in your state, let us know!
LOCAL PICKUP POLICY
If you live outside of the states that we ship directly to and you process an order through our website you acknowledge that you will have to pick up your order locally at our the Clavey Vineyards & Winery Tasting Room located at 232 Commercial St., Nevada City, Ca.
Please Note: Due to the exclusive nature of our wine we will hold local pickup orders for 30 days. After 30 days you will be automatically refunded and wine will be restocked to inventory. If you are unable to pick up your order within 30 days but do plan to pick up your order please contact us to place a special hold on your order.
